Catseye Spotlight: Jay Corbin

In our Catseye Spotlight posts, we will highlight individual Catseye team members. We’ve asked them to tell us a little about themselves, such as where they are from, what they like to do in their free time and what brought them to Catseye.

Kicking off our Catseye Spotlight posts is Jay Corbin, driver of the #8 Pro Stock Car at Lebanon Valley Speedway sponsored by Catseye Pest Control.

Where are you originally from?

I’m from Troy, NY.

How did you get involved or interested in racing?

I got involved and more interested as I helped others with their race cars.

Can you tell us about your racing division and any recent highlights?

I’m in the Pro Stock Division. I won both the 2012 Opening Night Pro Stock race April 14 as well as the race the following week (April 21) – back-to-back career wins for the first time ever.

When did you first partner with Catseye?

I teamed up with Catseye at the beginning of the 2011 season.

What driver did you grow up watching?

Tommy Corellis

Are you an early bird or night owl?

Night owl

What are you most likely to be doing on a Sunday afternoon?

Washing the car and watching the NASCAR race

What is your favorite part about your job?

Working with my friends

What is one of your bucket list items? 

Winning Super Dirt Week at the NYS Fairgrounds
