A Wildlife Barrier Protecting Your Foundation & Windows from Animals
Lower Cat-Guard is a wildlife barrier that acts as the main line of defense for the first floor of any home, business, or other structure. From the first-floor windows down to the ground, Lower Cat-Guard ensures there are no openings for critters to make their way into your home or other structure.
If rodents and other wildlife find their way into the basement and begin to multiply, it can become a serious issue for the structure — and your wallet. Mice and other wildlife will use the insulation as a material for their nests or nibble on wiring, presenting you with electrical problems. Give yourself peace of mind knowing that your family can sleep at night without the stench of a skunk or the scratching of squirrels.
Lower Cat-Guard is a natural, chemical-free option for homes and businesses. Protect your loved ones and investments from the damage and disease brought by nuisance wildlife. Our Lower Cat-Guard Exclusion Systems guarantee that your family will sleep soundly and that your home is safe.
We offer complete lower-home exclusion through Lower Cat-Guard for homes and businesses throughout the New England area, including Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Road Island. Check out more information on our service locations and areas our technicians cover.
How Lower Cat-Guard Works
Lower Cat-Guard is a wildlife exclusion barrier that shields your home from mice, rats, chipmunks, squirrels, skunks, and other nuisance wildlife that may find their way inside through the lower part of the structure.
Our team of Cat-Guard Exclusion technicians use premium materials and technology to seal-up the entire area where the home meets the foundation. Visible holes are filled in, including holes in the foundation, gaps in siding, J-channel, and window trim, as well as corner posts.
This ensures nuisance wildlife is not able to get into the lower-half of the home, especially when paired with Trench-Guard, which ensures protection from burrowing pests as well.
Backed by Our Limited Lifetime Warranty
After the installation is completed, all Lower Cat-Guard Exclusion Systems are protected for 12 months by our standard Cat-Guard Warranty. This warranty includes annual visits to ensure the Lower Cat-Guard is performing as it should.
In the event that your Lower Cat-Guard Exclusion System becomes damaged, our technicians will repair any portion of it that is damaged. Additionally, we will remove any wildlife that was able to enter the structure because of the damage.
You also have the option to renew your Lower Cat-Guard warranty each year so that your Cat-Guard — and your home — are protected forever.
What To Expect from Lower Cat-Guard
Customized lower-home wildlife exclusion systems are ideal because each home is unique and requires superior attention to detail and quality materials. Lower Cat-Guard is customized to fit the needs of each home or structure and the infestation issue it faces. This is our process:
Inspection
A detailed and thorough assessment of the basement, garage, and exterior of your home to identify pest or wildlife problems and determine the best possible solutions for the foundation and lower portion of the home.
Pre-walk
An experienced Cat-Guard foreman will perform a second inspection to make material lists and detail out the work to be performed. This ensures that your Lower Cat-Guard Exclusion System will be efficiently installed with guaranteed quality.
Installation
The Lower Cat-Guard Exclusion System is installed on the exterior. When the crew has completed the install, the crew leader signs off that the job is complete and the Cat-Guard one-year warranty is active.
Quality Control Check
A Cat-Guard manager or foreman will return to perform a quality control check to ensure nothing was missed and that the system meets our Lower Cat-Guard standards to keep your home safe from costly damage from wildlife.
Annuial Re-inspection
Complete interior and exterior inspection to make sure rodents or wildlife have not breached our Lower Cat-Guard system. Should problems arise, we will maintain and repair the seal immediately.
