Caught On Camera: Catseye Pest Control Out and About Through Fall 2012
This season has been very busy for the Catseye team. Not only have we been tracking down mice, rats and other nuisance wildlife, but we’ve had a lot of fun out with our neighbors at some great community events!
The team ended September at the 57th Annual Fall Foliage Parade on Sunday, Sept. 30 in North Adams, MA. The parade’s theme was “Toys on Parade!”
The following weekend, Caddie was at the Mohawk Hudson River Marathon and Half Marathon, where 922 people ran a full marathon and an additional 761 participants finished half marathons. It was a tremendously successful event! Mark your calendars – next year’s races are on October 13, 2013 and registration begins March 1, 2013.
Catseye Pest Control was on-site at October 20’s Bite Back for a Cure: A Tick-Borne Disease Alliance Walk/Run to Fight Tick-Borne Diseases with tick prevention tips and information to raise awareness about tick-borne diseases such as Lyme. The event raised more than $10,000 for the Tick-Borne Disease Alliance, which is dedicated to raising awareness, supporting research and promoting advocacy to find a cure for tick-borne diseases. Everyone at Catseye Pest Control knows the dangers of disease that can be caused by various pests, and we were pleased to support such an initiative.
The 2012 Nevada Day Parade on Saturday, October 27 was another fantastic outing for the Catseye team in our western region. Thousands of people came to celebrate the 148th birthday of Nevada and honor military families. The Nevada Catseye team had a terrific time and looks forward to next year’s celebration.
On Halloween day, we were so pleased to see friends stop by the office for some trick-or-treating!
Finally, the entire Capital Region Catseye Pest Control team has been so excited this month to kick off the fourth annual Catseye Cares for Kids Campaign supporting Make-A-Wish Northeast New York. We cannot wait to sponsor another wish for a child in the area, and we will work hard through February 2013 to raise thousands of dollars with that goal in mind. We are hopeful you will participate, and we thank all our family, friends and community members for supporting this great cause.
Winter 2012 is going to be busy – stay tuned for more updates!
