Even the cleanest homes are suspectable to rodent activity — specifically that of the house mouse — and these rodents bring with them diseases that will contaminate your home and its surfaces.
Typically these rodents leave evidence behind of their presence, like getting into dry foods like bread and cereal, as well as pet food. Mice droppings are also a sure sign of rodent activity, and the problem should be addressed immediately to ensure it does not get out of hand. Unlike some other rodents, like rats, mice are active throughout the night, and can often be heard in the nighttime hours when they are menacing a sleeping household.
