Name: Megan Tatro
Position: Customer Service Representative
When did you join Catseye Pest Control?
I joined Catseye Pest Control on January 2nd, 2012.
How did you get involved or interested in pest control?
My involvement in pest control began when I applied for a position here at Catseye. I had no previous pest control experience. Working for Catseye has opened my eyes to an industry in which I never would have known about otherwise. My knowledge about different household pests grows with every day.
Where are you originally from? I am originally from Port Henry, New York, located in the Adirondacks on the shores of Lake Champlain. I relocated to the Albany area after attending college at SUNY Albany.
What are you known for in the office? I am told by some people in the office that I have an infectious laugh. A lot of the time, if you get me laughing, it can be quite hard to get me to stop.
What is your favorite part about your job? My favorite part about my job is being involved in the community. Catseye Pest Control is actively involved in events and charitable organizations throughout the Capital Region that I have had the pleasure of being a part. I recently aided in the “Catseye Cares for Kids” campaign, in which proceeds raised with help from customers and employees were donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northeastern New York.
What song gets stuck in your head? As much as I hate to admit this, the song I often find myself humming throughout the day is “Call Me Maybe,” by Carly Rae Jepsen. I don’t know what it is. I guess it’s catchy.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? If I could live anywhere in the world, I would divide my time between a home on Lake George, close to my family, and a home on the ocean in the Carolinas.
