Celebrating National Pest Management Month
From the first day of the month’s foolish tricks through the first warm days of the year, April is a beautiful and fun time. And for the pest management industry, April is a month of recognizing all of the professionals committed every day to protecting the health of the public and the security of property from household pests commonly known to stir up trouble for property owners.
The National Pest Management Association (NPMA) celebrates April as National Pest Management Month, an annual celebration of professionals that has occurred for more than 30 years. During this month of celebration, we recognize our own Catseye Pest Control employees, who strive to provide great customer experiences that quickly and effectively treat pest problems, prevent future ones and ease the concerns of homeowners worried about the health and safety of their family members and pets.
For more than 29 years, the team at Catseye Pest Control has focused on building a company people want to work for, with employee benefits, growth opportunities and a supportive team celebrating success and fostering each member’s continuing pest education.
Being a pest management professional doesn’t just mean applying treatments and cleaning up dead bugs. Working in our industry requires the ability to thoroughly investigate each situation as a unique pest case, diagnosing the problem correctly and determining the best course of action for the property – and that can all depend on a variety of factors, from the local climate to the age of the property to the residents of the house and the severity of the pest conditions. It requires a personality that can teach people of all ages, from children in a kindergarten class to aging restaurant owners, about how to prevent pest issues and what to do when you think you have one. For Catseye employees, an interest in taking part in community activities as an advocate for safe habits and precautionary health measures, is required.
Lucky for us, our staff is great – and growing. Do you think you’re a good fit for a job in pest management? Now is a terrific time to join the industry! Check out Catseye’s job openings and introduce yourself today!
