Tame Winter Spells Trouble for Honey-Do Lists

You might not believe it – but springtime is already here. Today is the Spring Equinox, marking the first day of the season.

To some, Spring brings excitement; the resurgence of life.  To many – it brings out the infamous “honey-do” list. You know, all those special projects that you’ve been waiting to start.

Be careful though – as you begin tackling your list, more items may find themselves added at the bottom.

Let’s say your painting the shed, as you start to paint the trim of a window, your list all of a sudden gets bigger.  Why, you ask?  The brush goes right through the trim exposing a very busy colony of Carpenter Ants. In fact, this is usually how most people find out they have Carpenter Ants; by accident.

Spring is already here. The mild winter has nature moving quicker than expected – and thanks to the Carpenter Ants, your shed not only has a new coat, but a face lift as well.

So the next time you look at your “honey do” list, remember  — there may be a surprise waiting for you.
