That’s Not Good!

Histoplasmosis is a cool sounding word that can be used to impress your friends until you find out what it is. At which time your response will no doubt be that’s not good.

Histoplasmosis is a disease that results from inhaling the spores of a fungus, Histoplasma capsulatum. In some individuals’ histoplasmosis may cause flu-like symptoms, including chest pain as a result of the respiratory system being infected, dry cough, headache, loss of appetite, chills and hoarseness. In others it may become choric which can cause serious complications even death.
