Step-by-Step Reese’s Pieces Turkey Craft

Can you believe that Thanksgiving is already here? We can’t, but that doesn’t mean we didn’t search Pinterest for an awesome Thanksgiving-themed project! This Tasty Turkey Craft is a great DIY for the kids, a fun favor for Thanksgiving dinner guests and is sure to be “gobbled” up before the holiday is over.

What You Need

  • Reese’s Pieces 
  • Pipe Cleaners (we suggest red, orange, yellow and brown colors)
  • Googly Eyes
  • White Mesh Fabric
  • Rubber Bands
  • Scissors
  • Glue

Step 1

Cut the mesh fabric into about a 1′ x 1′ square and pour the Reese’s Pieces into the center.

Step 2

Gather the corners of the mesh fabric and bind together with a rubber band. Just look at that plump turkey belly!

Step 3

Using some of the pipe cleaners, make three-toed turkey feet and gently push the legs through the mesh into the belly.

Step 4

Wrap a pipe cleaner around your fingertip to make a spiraled turkey head and attach small pipe cleaner pieces to make the beak and gobbler. Use glue to attach the googly eyes.

Step 5

Gently press the turkey neck through the mesh fabric.
