Catseye Pest Control Donates $11,500 to Make-A-Wish from Annual Campaign

We are so pleased to announce today the donation of $11,500 to Make-A-Wish thanks to the 2012-2013 Catseye Cares for Kids campaign, dispersed between the Make-A-Wish chapters of two Catseye-serviced regions. The donations are made possible through the fundraising of employees, family, friends, clients and profits from specific services sold during the Catseye Cares for Kids campaign, which began in November 2012 and ran through February 2013, and we can’t thank you all enough!

The fourth annual fundraising campaign by Catseye Pest Control’s upstate New York headquarters raised $10,000 for Make-A-Wish Northeast New York. To date, the company has raised more than $25,000 for this Make-A-Wish affiliate. Last year’s campaign funded a local 15-year-old Wish Teen’s visit to Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

Additionally, Catseye employees of the Reno, Carson City and Lake Tahoe regions are pleased to donate $1,500 in the regional office’s first campaign for Make-A-Wish Northeastern California and Northern Nevada, and look forward to continuing this campaign in the years ahead.

“Our staff and partners really rallied together to meet the goal for this year’s Make-A-Wish campaign,” said David Miclette, vice president at Catseye Pest Control. “This charity is very dear to the hearts of the Catseye family so we always enjoy giving to this cause. We look forward to even more successful campaigns and helping those in our communities.”

“We couldn’t be more appreciative,” said William C. Trigg, III, CEO of Make-A-Wish Northeast New York. “For us, and for our sister chapter in California/Nevada, the support we receive from Catseye has a real impact. With the average wish costing around $10,000, Catseye is literally helping make wishes come true for local kids with life-threatening medical conditions.”

Though the annual fundraising campaign is over, Catseye Pest Control encourages donations to Make-A-Wish throughout the year. For information on how to donate to the Make-A-Wish chapter located near you, visit https://secure2.wish.org/site/SPageServer?pagename=donate_today&chid=100-000.
