Join Caddie at These Upcoming Community Events

At Catseye we’re very serious about protecting you, your family and your home from the dangers and damage caused by pests — but we like to have fun too! This fall you will find Catseye at a variety of family-friendly events. There will be kids crafts and activities, awesome Catseye giveaways and, of course, Caddie the Catseye Cat. Mark your calendars, here’s what’s in store for Fall 2014!

Wilton Mall Kids Club: All About Bugs

Come learn about bugs with us! Kids crafts and activities include making your own spoon bug friend and learning how to be an entomologist (aka bug expert). You can also hang out with our lovable orange superhero, Caddie the Catseye Cat, and pick up some cool Catseye gear. The Children’s Museum of Saratoga will also be there with more fun kids crafts and activities. The kids can dance and play games with Chad O’Hara and B95.5.

When: Saturday, August 16 from 1pm to 3pm

Where: Food Court at Wilton Mall in Saratoga Springs

Back to School Expo

This event is all about getting kids in that “back to school” mindset with science and engineering experiments and exhibits. Catseye will be there with kids crafts and activities that focus on the insect world. There will also be a special guest appearance of Disney star Emma from the hit show “Jessie!”

When: Saturday, September 20 from 10am to 3pm

Where: The Convention Center at the Empire State Plaza in Albany

Race Against Lyme Run/Walk

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report that at least 30,000 people get Lyme in the United States every year. This tick-borne disease can have some serious long-term complications like chronic fatigue, join paint and numbness in arms and legs. The Race Against Lyme 5k run and 1.5 mile walk is hosted by the Lyme Research Alliance to raise funds for awareness and research. Catseye will be at the event to support the cause and educate people about how to prevent ticks.

When: Saturday, October 4 at 9:30am, the run begins at 11am

Where: The Crossings of Colonie

Mohawk Hudson River Marathon and Half Marathon

It’s the third year Catseye will be supporting this awesome local race! You can catch Caddie cheering at the start and finish lines and Catseye volunteers will be supporting and hydrating runners at the last water stop in downtown Albany.

When: Sunday, October 12 at 8:30am

Where: The marathon starts in Schenectady Central Park and the half marathon starts at Colonie Town Park, the races end at Albany Riverfront Park at Corning Preserve

We hope to see you and your family at some of these fun events!
