Catseye At Big Truck Day
Last Saturday the Maple Avenue Middle School parking lot was filled with the sounds of honking horns and laughing kids. It was Big Truck Day, an annual event hosted by The Children’s Museum at Saratoga. When we found out it was one of their biggest fundraisers, Catseye jumped in to lend a helping paw as one of the vendors. Plus we couldn’t turn down the opportunity to show off one of our trucks!
Hundreds of families braved the wind and heat for the chance to see some of the biggest vehicles in the Capital Region. Among them were dump trucks, fire trucks, a Price Chopper semi, CDTA bus and some food trucks. We brought one of our Cat-Guard Exclusion System trucks — a Toyota Tundra with a cap and ladder rack. The kids loved sitting in the front seat and honking the horn, but that wasn’t all. Caddie was there entertaining everyone and giving out high fives. He made lots of friends including one little guy who followed him around everywhere. “He’s got a little follower,” said Geoff, Catseye’s Creative Director to the boy’s mom. “They’re best friends for life now,” the mom exclaimed laughing. We also gave out Catseye tattoos and maze pens and had a fun “big truck” themed activity sheet.
We had so much fun at this event and were glad to help our friends at The Children’s Museum at Saratoga! Relive the fun with your kids — click our Big Truck Day Activity Sheet below to save and print the full size image.
