Be on the Lookout for Fall Pest Control Issues

Summer 2012 has ended and we dealt with a lot of pests. Bats flew up in our attics, bees buzzed around our porches and Carpenter Ants crept into our kitchens and pantries. Ticks were all over our yards, and worse, mosquitoes transmitted West Nile Virus to people nationwide.

Through it all, pest control remained a top priority of homes and businesses, because as we know, it is a hard task to do yourself, and failed attempts often lead to pest problems spiraling out of control.

Speaking of pest problems getting out of control, remember this case of bed bugs? What a nightmare!

As the seasons change, make sure to maintain a watchful eye for new fall pest control problems that could be happening at your home or business. Whether it is nuisance wildlife finding new homes for the winter or lingering insects whose activity is spurred by the season’s wet weather, pest issues can occur throughout the entire year. Carpenter Ants, Bees, Wasps, Hornets and other pests will take shelter in your walls for winter, with various levels of activity that could be dangerous to the structure of your property. Not to mention, think of what happens when spring weather warms all these pests up!

This fall, make sure to call the experts if you think you have a pest control issue that needs to be solved. These experts can ease your concerns and diagnose your pest problem, and, if necessary, recommend the best course of action to keep this season from being full of pests.
